Duran the peacock and colours talk.

Bonjour everybody!

Spending time observing is very important as an artist, learning how to see is a skill that we can all learn and if painting or drawing is one of the thing you would like to learn, observing and analysing what shape and colours you have in front of you is key as it is the foundation of your artwork.

You might say "I have eyes! I can see clearly" but if I tell you that our blue sky has a lot of red in it and the shadow of a green tree leaf is dark purple you might disagree with me, at least at first.

When is comes to colours, Duran the peacock from Caenhill countryside centre is the best and probable the most challenging example but: everything in nature can be done with the 3 primary colours (and white for the grey value / intensity of the colour)

I hope you enjoy this little video. Lots of love to you all.

I wish you a lovely day and hope this made you smile!

Caroline
